Yesterday was a big deal for us. We ordered our yurt about 8 weeks ago (which left us time to build the deck/platform), and yesterday was pick up day. Dave and our builder went to get it, since it was a two-truck load. It consisted of three sturdily built crates, and although we were a little concerned about how big a 30-foot yurt would be to transport, it turns out that everything was pretty compact. They got it on the ferry, drove it to the land and unloaded it all. Day one.
I love that we get to keep the empty crates. Future playhouse anyone? :)
