Couched

I did it! A successful little knit for a sweet friend's baby girl. The pattern is Lion Brand's Nature Baby Kimono. I used recycled cotton in rose coral. I really liked this yarn a lot. It reminds me of the twisted baker's twine that was all the rage a couple of years ago.

When I make items for others I sometimes worry that they won't use them. i.e. When I make quilts, I worry they won't match the decor. Ditto for clothes--what if they don't have anything that matches?


I whipped up some li'l matching baby shoes, couching leftover yarn on the front panel.
