'tis the season

for last minute do-it-yourself teacher gifts. For my preschool son's teachers, lunch sacks:

For my oldest's kindergarten teacher--the one who whips out her guitar to sing rousing praise songs with the kids first thing in the morning (I wish I had half her energy): A guitar strap. I hope she likes it!

Three down and just one more to go. I sometimes feel like I'm spinning in circles here trying to keep up with everything. I had a friend call me the other day who asked me why whenever I answer the phone I always seem like I'm out of breath. Um, maybe 'cuz I always am!

Those lunch sacks are great...I sure would like to make some for my son's teachers. Can you post a pattern or tutorial?

Lovely gifts! That guitar strap is nice too!

When I pick up the phone my voice is always LOUD cause my kids are playing, singing, screaming in the room. I have to remember to take it down a notch to a normal speaking voice/volume. =)

Who wouldn't love a bag like this. It's perfect. I'm sure I told you before that you are so talented.

Great gifts! I decided to make bags this year too (my son's first year of nursery) and combined it with a bag challenge I'm in. Wish I'd picked something simpler as I'm struggling with the motivation on the second one LOL

Those bags are so neat! I have made your baby shoes many times and have appliqued on a onesie, thanks to inspiration from you! I also had no idea "Craft Apple" was your sister! Thats so cool, 2 crafty sisters in the family. I absolutely love her diaper bags. :)
Thanks for the great ideas and inspiration,

I love the lunch sacks! Did you use any kind of insulated batting?

I love your lunch bags! When you get a chance would post the source of the pattern or give a tutorial? My daughter is really into tote bags for things now - 1 for karate, 1 for the Farmer's Market, 1 for picnics...
