Hi and Bye!

It's a been a bit quiet on the blog. Some of it by choice, and some of it due to sickness and travelling. We had a great time with the in-laws(when we weren't taking turns being sick with the stomach flu). We took a road trip to Western Washington to check out Kalaloch Lodge and the Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park, with a detour to Seabrook to (what else?) check out model homes. All in all a wonderful, beautiful trip (if you don't count the puking, diarrhea and hacking coughs--but I digress). We're all doing much better now, thanks! And glad to be back with all the amenities of home.

And even though it seems like I just had a blogging break, I'm going to announce another one. I have such a love/hate relationship with my blog. I want to enjoy blogging, and sometimes it seems like a bit of a chore. I'll be back when I feel refreshed. In the meantime, I'll be hanging out at Flickr. Catch ya later!

Ah yes, the love-hate relationship with the blog. Some times it does feel like an obligation rather than just a joy. But breaks definitely do help. When you feel ready, maybe you'd like to participate in this meme? I've tagged you:

I know comments are off for your baby blanket package. I would suggest putting it in a clear plastic bag, like the ones Ziploc sell for huge items. Then suck the air out of it with a vacuum. You can easily put it in the suitcase, and the recipient can release it from the bag. I hope this helps.
